Over four years in the making and clocking in at just over an hour — "Vessels", the first proper full-length Freeze Etch album, is a dynamic excursion into a world of thick organic rhythms, striking melodic textures, and surging ambient momentum. By turns sparkling and pristine and by others ugly and smoldering, "Vessels" explores the brooding tensions between dynamically opposed auras, employing textures which are at once terrestrial and alien, as well as melodic structures which merge skilled composition with the ambiguous flood of drone. Released by Force Of Nature Productions on February 1st 2008, featuring artwork by Eric Carl and mastered by Josh Colella (Scrap.edx).

Praise from Side-Line Music Magazine:

..."Dark ambient music now counts one more genius project to its small list! (...) “Vessels” is nothing less than a masterpiece! (...) Freeze Etch finally launches an accomplished master work, which shows how good ambient can sound!"

Praise from Re:gen Magazine:

..."At times sounding like Coil, Gridlock at others, and sometimes even SeeFeel, but never trying to duplicate them, this is a good record. If you are going to buy one release from an indie label and you are in need some spacey music, then Vessels will not disappoint."

Praise from Igloo Magazine:

..."Freeze Etch's Vessels for Force Of Nature Productions opens the flood-gates full of chunky beats, distorted industrial debris, and cold grooves that slither into unknown groves."

released February 1, 2008

Adam played the acoustic guitar throughout track 1.

Michael Day played the birds on track 4, the train on tracks 4 and 7, the traffic and the cicadas on track 8, and the Japanese crowd on track 10.

The ganga singers from the mountains of rural Croatia and Herzegovina lent their voices on track 6.

Brent Field spoke on track 10.
